Always a Bright Side

Hi y’all!  How are you doing today?

So going over my last post…Many of you have suggested that the photos I took were of the potential wedding venues–and yes, you were correct! Ding ding ding! :P

Greg and I decided that a ceremony outdoors would be great, but hopefully it will be “safe” since we set the date to March. Yay!

I’ve been gone for quite a few days from blogging and reading!  Are you kind of curious to know what I’ve been up to?  Well even if you aren’t, just bear with me.

ANSWER= Bible studies, working,  meeting up with my friend Emily, with Greg, and the big one…SLEEPING ALOT!!! Blech, too much of it actually.

I am not sure what I caught, but I’ve been fighting off some stomach problems along with headaches.  I know I get this symptom at least twice a year and each time it seems to be a different condition.  Remember that one day I was really hurting? Although I’m not certain, I have a hunch that it might be Urinary Tract Infection.  Sorry! Is that TMI? Haha!

In light of all this, I’m trying to stay hydrated with water and natural juices.

But as I always say, there is a bright side to everything!  Not only have I been resting more than usual, but I’ve also been slowing down and trying to listen to the Lord.

I always believe that God needs to slow our bodies and minds down every now and then, so that we would know how much we truly need Him.  Sometimes, our hearts and souls may be in dire need of feeding on His love and we usually don’t even realize it!  Many times, we are completely oblivious.  At least I am.

Besides all of this goodness, I believe that some down-time really helps put things into the right perspective.  Once again, I am reminded that I am truly blessed with everything and everyone in my life.  Not only that, but I also realize yet again that there are far more individuals who are truly suffering in this world.  So sad, but so true…Don’t you think?

Alright well, after that serious rant there IS one very silly downside to all of this…

ANSWER= I have been dying to make cinnamon rolls for the first time and I just don’t have the energy to make them or eat them haha.  (I will be using this recipe!!!)  Can’t wait to get creative in the kitchen with some dough!

I also grinned for ear to ear when this package arrived in the mail this week, wahoooo!!

Isn’t it so cool that it says “Royal Mail”?  It’s just so different from American USPS! :P

Jemma at Celery and Cupcakes held up a blogger’s food swap between the U.S. and UK bloggers.  :D   Thank you Jem!

If you know me somewhat well by now, you know that I love bars and that I’m always on a quest to find some delicious and healthy ones.  Let me tell you, this package was full of them.

I did this fun exchange with Emma at Coming Up Easy, and she sent me some real goodies.  So far, I’ve only tried Pulsin’ Energy Bomb and it was really good!  Thank you so much Emma~

Last week I also received a bag of Xylitol that I won from Alexa’s giveaway.  I’m kind of wary, but stoked about using this new product!

Have you heard of Tonya?  If you haven’t heard of her, then it’s about time you do! :D

Her story is so very inspiring and it is wonderful to see such a strong woman who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk in this crazy life.

Grace & Peace,

Ellie <33

yesss I started juicing about 1/5 years ago–but only here and there when I could afford the time to clean up even though It’s not TOOO bad compared to other juicers. I use the Breville. It’s truly worth it though b/c it’s so good for us and I believe it prevents so many illnesses. Now I do it as often as I can. :D these bars are all from the UK. Yummm
