So the actual reason why I’m popping in today is to share that my little nephew Daniel, who is only 2 years old, suffered from what seems to be a Grand Mal Seizure early Saturday morning. That was just yesterday.
I would be lying if I told you that I was fine and dandy at that moment. As soon as I saw my sister’s text to lift Daniel up in prayer for this very reason, tears rolled down my cheeks. Greg and I immediately held hands and prayed for this precious lil’ guy.
Thankfully, after spending his entire day in the ER, he’s been feeling better, but his fever is still very high and his parents need to constantly check up on him to prevent any sudden spikes in his body temperature.
Greg and I are going to visit him today and spend time with him, because we miss him so much and our hearts ache that he’s hurting at such a young age! If this is how an aunt feels for her little nephew (or any child out there), I certainly can’t understand a mother’s pure and unconditional love [yet].
If you remember today and in the days to come, please please lift him up in prayer! It will be greatly appreciated.
So get out there and have a fun and blessed day with those whom you love! Get out there and be a blessing to those around you. Tell somebody that you love them because tomorrow is never promised. I don’t mean to be a party-pooper, but that’s the truth.
