Back on Track Workout Routine

Hello lovelies!  I hope you had a fabulous Fourth of July.  I sure did; it was spent with my family as we had invited them over to our house.  Finally, much of the house is done up with furniture, decorations, framed photos, and clean rooms.  :D   Check!

We had so much great food and it was mostly homemade.  I am glad to report that my Orange-Ginger Pasta Salad was a huge hit!  So much so that my brother in law wanted to take the leftovers home to eat at work.  :P   Now if that doesn’t make an amateur “chef” smile, then I don’t know what will.

Oftentimes, the holidays bring delicious food along with their evil cousins called “Extra Calories”.  Now, in my opinion there is nothing wrong with consuming extra calories every now and then, especially when it’s in the setting of special events and family gatherings.  However, we all know that too much “celebrating” can make us feel bloated, sluggish, and unmotivated to be active because of the aforementioned symptoms.

Okay, so…I thought that it would be fun to record a workout video for anyone out there who’s looking for a fun, efficient, and fast-paced routine! (Or if you just want to have a laugh by watching me :( ) Oh man oh man I feel kind of exposed and dorky!  Especially because of my constant fidgeting and messing my words up.  Hehe…But, I don’t care!  I had fun doing this and I hope it’s helpful to you guys (if you decide to try it out).

Several people have asked me to actually show the moves to my exercises, and more times than I can remember I have been asked for advice regarding back exercises.

Fortunately, this fast-paced and easily altered routine targets almost every single muscle you can imagine.  I went through it yesterday and I woke up incredibly sore.  I’m still in pain.

*Help* :P

My handy dandy Gymboss Timer!

Darn, I apologize for the fuzzy quality of the video, and I do wish the camera was more eye-level!  I must admit, it was tough to get the right angle on my own.  Please stay and don’t run away! ;)

How was your 4th?

Do you need visuals/videos in order to follow exercises?

Love,

Ellie <33

I always feel SO much better once I am back to working out after indulging a little too much – takes care of that bloating issue.

It really does help, huh? And then the refreshing feeling is just plain awesome.

Aww Ellie ssi! 멋져용 짱!! It might sound kinda creepy, but it’s nice to finally hear your voice ;) . I’ve taken a lot of group classes at my gym, but I’ve suspended my membership for the time being. Thankfully, I was recently introduced to the wonderful world of hulu (I know..I’m very behind with these things), and I do find it incredibly helpful! Happy Friday!!

P.S. Ninja and I used to have dland passes but they just expired. We might re-up them though!

I love getting to see you and hear your voice Ellie! I’ve been wanting to do a recipe video, but, like you, it makes me feel kinda uncomfortable. We had a nice, relaxing 4th! My husband worked, so I was at home with my daughters, but we saw some fireworks outside! I hope you have a great weekend!

It was so nice to hear your voice Ellie! Vlogs can be a bit uncomfortable, but they really do help to get to know the person behind the blog even better :) And I know working out makes me feel a whole lot better about everything… physical and mental aspects

hehehe thank you for identifying with my uncomfortable-ness! And it is true that once you hear and see the person move, everything comes so much more alive. :)

I hate the feeling after I eat too much – but it rarely stops me from overindulging when I’m in the middle of it! Love this workout and glad your house is all set up!
