Hi there! Selah and I wish you a happy Tuesday, and hopefully the weather is treating you well depending on where you’re reading from. The LA area has definitely gotten the memo that it is finally Spring…and although it’s gorgeous out there I can already tell that it’s going to be a scorching one this year! But maybe that’s not such a bad thing since I get to dress Selah in beautiful little dresses like this one.
A lot of people have been asking me where I got her peach dress, and with good reason. I mean, look at the etherealness of it, hah! I would like one in my size, thank you very much. Unfortunately I can’t tell you where it’s from—all I know is that my friend got it from Korea—and it’s pretty obvious because Korean fashion has that particular look to it…the clothes are very flowy and always have details like the ruffles that give it a unique touch.
Okay enough about baby fashion. Can you tell I’m in love?
Yesterday was so beautiful out that we couldn’t bear to be cooped up inside, so we had what Greg loves to call “family day” in Hermosa Beach. We usually leave Selah in the car seat and click it on the stroller, but this time we decided to put her in the stroller like a big girl in order to keep her entertained. Oh myyyyy isn’t she growing so fast?!

Selah has been to the beach plenty of times already, but yesterday she got to see the waves crashing from up close.
We didn’t let her play in the sand since we’re planning on doing that when she turns 1, but she sure loved standing on sand. I imagine the novelty of it all made her smile like this and now the picture above is probably one of my favorites.
And as I transition into a somewhat deeper note…one thing I always want to clarify on my blog is that our life isn’t perfect, and like I’ve said before, I don’t want anyone to walk away thinking we’re a perfect family because it’s so easy to assume that about others through social media…even when we know better! But the one thing that sets us apart is that we know we are blessed beyond measure and always aim to live with gratitude, forgiveness, fun, and God’s love for each other. Now that’s the best part! Because intentional living is where it’s at, my friends. So let’s be intentional today in our relationships and endeavors.
Also, stay tuned for this scrumptious and wholesome recipe later this week! The best part about it is that it’s filled with healthy fats, fiber, protein, fruit, and it’s vegan+gf to boot. I will probably be posting it on Thursday early-late morning, so even though you might just want to reach into the screen right now, don’t do it. Just..don’t…that would not be good for your computer.
Tell me what’s been making your day/week amazing!
Have you ever tried outfits from Korea before? What did you think of them?
How did you spend your family days when you were a kid? Or how do you spend them now that you have your own family?
-We honestly didn’t have many opportunities to get out as a family when I was little, but that’s probably the reason I want to do that as much as I can with Selah so she’ll have memories stored up in her heart.
In what ways do you need to be “intentional”?
